Editorial Lauds UH Geauga Medical Center for Disaster Drill on New Realities

“Be prepared” is the Boy Scouts of America’s motto, but that phrase could apply to hospitals as well.

Recently, University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center in Claridon Township showed its dedication to preparing for the modern and evolving realities of emergency response to a potential mass shooting.

We believe the hospital’s efforts are commendable and deserve additional recognition.
